During the meeting on Saturday, General Vahidi and General Hatami said the Iranian Armed Forces, relying on faith, experience, and strategic capabilities, stand strongly at the forefront of defending the country’s independence, national security, and territorial integrity.

While honoring the Army martyrs from the recent conflict—such as Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi and Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh—the IRGC chief pointed to the achievements of the US-Israel-imposed war, saying the Iranian Army surpassed the enemy’s imagination by displaying its power and strength on the battlefield.

He further saluted the valor and patriotism of Army commanders and troops, stating that “the revolutionary zeal and operational ingenuity throughout the war by the Army and the IRGC humbled and humiliated terrorist American and Zionist powers.”

General Vahidi, however, attributed the triumph over the enemy to national unity and cohesion, especially among all branches of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies, calling it a key factor for overcoming the aggressive enemies.

Underlining that the Zionist army would collapse in a very short time without US support, the IRGC commander said that Iran and the nation’s resilience had made American officials, including President Donald Trump, desperate and helpless, who resorted to lies and deception in a bid to manufacture achievements.

American and Zionist intelligence and military agencies misled their people and openly tried to mask their failures on the battlefield against the Islamic Republic, he added.

During the meeting, the Army chief also hailed the steadfast resistance of the Iranian nation and forces against the demands of American-Israeli enemies, saying they once again proved that they would never compromise on national interests, and would powerfully continue the path of the martyrs.

General Hatami said the IRGC had consistently been a key pillar of Iran’s national power, security, and deterrence over the past four decades, adding that the persistent hostility of the ‘Global Arrogance’ toward the IRGC is clear evidence of its decisive role in upholding national authority and security.

Paying tribute to the IRGC commanders and combatants –  from Martyr Major General Hossein Salami and Martyr Lieutenant General Mohammad Pakpour to Martyr Major General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh –  who sacrificed their lives defending Iran and the Islamic Revolution, he said their names and struggles will remain enduring, glorious, and proud in the history of the national defense.

General Hatami also warned against the conspiracies to make the Iranian nation abandon its legitimate demands since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, saying the enemies must change their perspective regarding Iran, its people and the sacred system under the exalted leadership.

The Iranian nation and the Armed Forces—which have risen from the people—will continue the path of the martyrs with strength and authority and will not compromise on their national interests, he added.
