The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) has traveled to Vienna to attend the 70th IAEA General Conference and hold talks with diplomats on nuclear cooperation.

Mohammad Eslami left Tehran for Vienna on Saturday at the head of a delegation of AEOI officials to take part in the annual General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
During the trip, Eslami will address the conference and meet ambassadors and representatives from various countries to discuss nuclear cooperation, scientific and technological exchanges, and bilateral and international engagement.
AEOI deputies and officials are likewise scheduled to meet foreign representatives to review areas of nuclear cooperation during the event.
The 70th Regular Session of the IAEA General Conference will be held from September 14 to 18 at the Vienna International Center, Austria, where high-ranking officials and representatives from IAEA member states will consider a range of issues in the nuclear field, according to an announcement shared on the agency’s official website.
