Addressing a ceremony to mark the “Battle of Puebla”, Abolfazl Pasandideh criticized Western media narratives, saying that imperialism attempts to deceive global public opinion by distorting facts and presenting an unreal image of Iran, while the truth is something completely different.
He said that imperialism, through baseless claims, paves the ground for military actions, emphasizing that Iranian people have always chosen independence over domination.
Pointing to the role of US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in initiating the aggression against Iran, he said that these attacks began with claims that were never proved and resulted in targeting civilians.
