President Masoud Pezeshkian, in a telephone conversation with the Sultan of Oman, has emphasized the importance of bilateral cooperation and constructive consultations aimed at consolidating regional peace and stability.

In the phone call on Sunday, Pezeshkian extended birthday greetings to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, wishing the government and people of Oman continued prosperity and success.
Pezeshkian commended the Sultan and the Omani government for their efforts to promote regional peace and stability. He stressed the importance of maintaining diplomatic consultations, expanding constructive interactions, and utilizing the shared potential of regional nations to foster mutual understanding and cooperation.
Highlighting the friendly, long-standing ties between Iran and Oman, the President invited Sultan Haitham to visit Tehran, expressing hope that arrangements for an in-person meeting would be made soon.
In response, the Sultan expressed gratitude for the congratulatory message and reaffirmed Oman’s consistent policy of supporting peace and stability in the region.
He noted that close communication and consultation with Iran remain a priority for his country. Sultan Haitham also thanked Pezeshkian for the invitation, stating that the visit would take place at a suitable time.
