As a new round of military tensions between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States continues in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), in the early hours of Wednesday (July 15, 2026), issued Statements No. 10 through 14, announcing the execution of the third through seventh waves of Operation “Nasr 2.”
According to the IRGC Public Relations Department, the operation was conducted in response to last night’s U.S. military strikes against targets in southern Iran and targeted a series of U.S. military and logistical objectives in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan.
Wave Three: Attack on U.S. Military Infrastructure in Bahrain and Kuwait
In Statement No. 10, the IRGC announced that personnel from the IRGC Navy and Aerospace Force, in a coordinated missile and drone operation, destroyed several warehouses containing U.S. weapons, naval equipment, and aircraft components at the Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain.
The statement also indicated that the drone operating apron for MQ-9 strategic drones at Ali Al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait was targeted, resulting in the destruction or damage of several of these drones.
The IRGC also referred to yesterday afternoon’s U.S. attacks on Iranian coastal stations, emphasizing that the process of “punishing the aggressor” will continue as long as U.S. actions persist. It added that as long as what it described as “American mischief” continues in the region, oil and gas exports from the region will cease.
Wave Four: Targeting the U.S. Military Logistics and Support Center
According to Statement No. 11, during the fourth wave of the operation, carried out under the codename “Ya Aba Abdillah Al-Hussain (AS),” the main U.S. military logistics and support center in West Asia, known as KGL, located in the Mina Abdullah area of Kuwait, was targeted and destroyed.
The statement described last night’s U.S. attacks as an attempt to “conceal its defeat and inability” and reiterated that the Strait of Hormuz would remain closed until U.S. actions come to an end.
Wave Five: Attack on U.S. Fifth Fleet Command Centers
Statement No. 12 stated that the fifth wave of Operation “Nasr 2,” carried out under the codename “Ya Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS),” targeted the NSI management center, the command and control center, major warehouses containing military equipment and spare parts, and fuel depots belonging to the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.
The IRGC further asserted that the U.S. attacks did not go unanswered and reiterated its position that “oil and gas exports from the region will either be available to everyone or to no one.”
Wave Six: Attack on a U.S. Base in Jordan
In Statement No. 13, while issuing a message to the people of Jordan, the IRGC announced the targeting of Al-Azraq Air Base, which reportedly hosts U.S. F-15, F-16, and F-35 fighter aircraft, as well as MQ-9 drones.
According to the statement, hangars housing these fighter aircraft, along with several U.S. drones, were struck during the operation.
The IRGC also called on the people of Jordan to prevent the recurrence of such attacks by ending the U.S. military presence in their country.
Wave Seven: Attack on U.S. Air Defense Systems in Kuwait
Statement No. 14, the latest communiqué issued regarding this phase of the operation, refers to the martyrdom of “the great Islamic leader, Imam Khamenei (may God have mercy on him),” as well as the Minab school incident, and announces that the seventh wave of Operation “Nasr 2,” carried out under the codename “Ya Rasulullah (PBUH)” by personnel from the IRGC Ground Force and Aerospace Force, involved extensive missile and drone strikes against U.S. military targets in Kuwait.
The IRGC stated that the following targets were destroyed during the operation:
- Satellite communications center
- Missile and air defense radar
- Patriot air defense complex
- Logistics depot at a U.S. military base
- HIMARS launcher platforms
The statement concluded by calling on the people of Kuwait to oppose the U.S. presence in their country and help bring about an end to the occupation of their homeland.
