The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), through a series of official communiqués regarding Operation “Nasr 2,” has announced that in response to U.S. attacks against southern Iran, it has conducted multiple missile and drone strikes against American military bases and facilities in several regional countries.

Following aggressive U.S. strikes against southern Iran – which, according to Iranian military sources, were launched from several U.S. military bases in neighboring countries – the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran initiated a series of retaliatory operations under the codename “Operation Nasr 2,” targeting U.S. military assets and infrastructure across the region.
According to the communiqués released by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), these operations were carried out in response to U.S. aggression and aimed at military facilities and infrastructure used by the United States in Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman.
Communiqué No. 5 of Operation Nasr 2 stated that, in addition to striking the facilities and infrastructure of the U.S. Army at the Juffair base in Bahrain, the fifth phase of the retaliatory operation also successfully targeted and destroyed an FPS long-range aerial surveillance radar and a maritime surveillance radar in the Kingdom of Oman, using missile and drone attacks.
Communiqué No. 6 reported that two “super-tankers” were hit, which the IRGC described as having violated regulations and been “deceived” into cooperating with U.S. forces. In this statement, the IRGC Navy warned that any cooperation with American forces or transit through mined routes would not only result in damage and regret but also delay the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and exacerbate the global energy crisis.
Communiqué No. 7, issued by the IRGC Public Relations Office, announced that during the second wave of Operation Nasr 2, IRGC Navy personnel, under the battle cry “Yā Li-thārāt al-Ḥusayn” (“O Avengers of Hussein”), targeted and struck multiple weapons supply depots, a satellite communications hub, and a residential complex housing U.S. personnel at the Juffair base in Bahrain, using missiles and drones.
Communiqué No. 8 further stated that IRGC naval and aerospace forces, in missile and drone strikes against the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, set fire to the fleet’s fuel storage tanks and successfully struck and destroyed several radar systems, including a Patriot radar, the fleet’s air-defense control radar, and an early-warning C-RAM radar system.
Communiqué No. 9 addressed the people of Jordan, emphasizing that their legitimate demand for the removal of American occupation bases from the region could significantly contribute to restoring security and aiding the Palestinian people. The communiqué also confirmed that in the third phase of the second wave of Operation Nasr 2, a U.S.-controlled airbase on Jordanian soil – which, according to the IRGC, had been used by the U.S. military to launch attacks against Iran – was struck with ballistic missiles.
In these communiqués, the IRGC has underscored that the strikes were carried out in direct retaliation for U.S. aggression and has warned that if the enemy’s aggression continues, Iran will expand the scope of its targets
