Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi in St. Petersburg.

Araghchi arrived in the city on Monday, having previously stated that he would discuss developments related to confrontations with the United States and Israel during this trip.
The Russian side at the meeting was accompanied by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov, and Igor Kostyukov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) of the Russian General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia.
Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi, and Iran’s Ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali accompanied Araghchi in Iranian delegation.
