Iran’s First Vice President stated that while there was a time when certain countries withheld aviation fuel to ground Iran, those same nations have now come to the negotiating table to ensure the continuity of their own energy lifelines.

Mohammad Reza Aref wrote on his X, “There was a time when, in an attempt to ground the Iranian nation, they withheld the sale of fuel to our aircraft. Today, those same countries have come to the negotiating table with Iran to ensure the continuity of their own energy lifelines.
This is the fruit of steadfastness; we have moved from being ‘vulnerable to sanctions’ to a stage of ‘authority in meeting global needs’.”
