The Spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmaeil Baqaei strongly condemned the widespread terrorist attacks across Mali.

According to the reports, the terrorist attacks led to the country’s Defense Minister, Sadio Camara, his family members, and numerous civilians’ martyrdom, including worshippers at a mosque in the city of Kati near the capital, Bamako.
Esmaeil Baqaei issued a media statement expressing his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, conveying his sympathies to the government and people of Mali, while wishing for the swift recovery of the injured.
The Foreign Ministry Spokesperson reaffirmed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s principled stance in decisively condemning all forms of terrorism and violent extremism.
He stated, “Combating terrorism is a collective international responsibility that necessitates the cooperation and coordination of all nations, as well as an unyielding struggle against the perpetrators, organizers, facilitators, and financial sponsors of terrorism.”
Baqaei concluded by expressing his firm confidence that the people of Mali, through unity and solidarity, will prevail over terrorism and its backers.
