Flights between Muscat and Tehran are expected to resume in the first phase, according to a source, although the exact restart date and flight schedules for Omani airlines have yet to be announced.
The route was suspended on September 23 following restrictions imposed by the United States on flights operated by Iranian airlines.
Under the initial plan, services will resume from Muscat to Tehran. However, no decision has yet been announced regarding the resumption of flights in the opposite direction, from Tehran to Muscat.
