Iran’s Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali says Donald Trump cannot achieve through talks what he failed to achieve through war.

Jalali made the remarks in an interview with the Russian newspaper Vedomosti on Thursday, stressing that negotiation means both parties reaching a fair compromise based on a win-win approach.
He added that the Americans have become familiar with Iran’s positions and conditions, and have been convinced that they are unable to defeat the Islamic Republic through military action.
However, he stressed that Tehran has clear red lines from which it will never deviate.
Referring to the U.S. President’s remarks about a naval blockade of Iran, Jalali described the so-called blockade as completely meaningless, noting that Iran possesses an iron will to continue taking action to ensure its security and national interests.
Trump demands that Iran agree to what he dictates through negotiations, the envoy said, underlining that this approach cannot be called negotiation because true negotiation means both sides reach a fair compromise based on a win-win position.
