In an interview with Al Jazeera, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme Defense Council, Ali Shamkhani, emphasized that Iran’s missile systems represent a red line for the country and are non-negotiable.

Shamkhani stressed, ‘The Israeli regime is incapable of making any moves without direct support from Washington,’ emphasizing, ‘We will respond to any adventurism against Iran with a strong, decisive, and commensurate answer.’
‘The level of military preparedness is at its highest, and the cost of any miscalculations for any side will be significant,’ he added, noting, ‘Avoiding actions that may affect the security and stability of the region is a rational path for all parties involved.’
Shamkhani further stated, ‘If negotiations are realistic and free from maximum demands, they can progress positively, ensuring the interests of all sides,’ saying, ‘Diplomatic activities in the region are aimed at strengthening political options and reducing tensions.’
