As part of smart control of the Strait of Hormuz, IRGC Naval Force this morning detained two violating vessels—MSC-FRANCESCA, linked to the Zionist regime, and EPAMINODES—operating without required authorization through repeated violations and tampering with navigational aid systems, attempting to covertly exit the Strait of Hormuz thereby endangering maritime safety.

According to the statement, both ships were identified through the Force’s intelligence oversight and halted in defense of the rights of the Iranian nation in the Strait of Hormuz.

The statement added that the two ships have been transferred to Iranian territorial waters for inspection of their cargo, documents, and records.

The IRGC Navy reiterated that any action aimed at disrupting the implementation of regulations announced by the Islamic Republic of Iran for transit through the Strait of Hormuz, or any conduct inconsistent with safe navigation in this strategic waterway, is continuously monitored and will face firm and lawful response.
