Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi has praised Iranian military personnel for six months of sustained fighting, noting that their operations have brought the world’s most heavily armed military to its knees.

In a message marking the beginning of the Islamic month of Rabi al-Awwal, Vahidi addressed members of the IRGC, Army, Law Enforcement Command, Basij, tribal forces, and other security personnel, praising their endurance and battlefield performance.
He said Iranian forces had conducted successful offensive and defensive operations under intense fire while operating in extreme conditions, ranging from the heat and humidity of southern islands and coastal areas to freezing temperatures in the mountainous northern border regions.
Vahidi said the forces’ six-month campaign had demonstrated exceptional resistance against one of the most brutal enemies of humanity. He argued that their performance had strengthened hopes among oppressed peoples for an eventual end to domination by powerful states.
The IRGC commander also praised innovative battlefield management and said Iranian forces had drawn inspiration from the country’s eight-year Iran-Iraq War, as well as historic battles in early Islamic history.
Vahidi attributed the achievements to religious faith, national resilience and the sacrifices of Iranian military and security personnel. He also praised the Iranian public for maintaining its support and remaining engaged throughout the conflict.
In his message, Vahidi praised the leadership of Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei and said Iran’s military performance had demonstrated its ability to impose its will on its adversaries.
He concluded by expressing hope that the suffering of civilians in the region, particularly in Palestine and Lebanon, would soon end. He also paid tribute to those who had sacrificed for Iran’s security and defense.
