Reza Amiri-Moghaddam wrote on his X account today, Tuesday, “It is a universal truth that no country possessing a great civilization negotiates under threat and force.”
The Ambassador added, “This is a fundamental, Islamic, and divine principle. If only the United States would understand this.”
However, Iranian officials have stated that they currently have no plans to participate in the Islamabad talks due to the continued U.S. naval blockade of Iran, which Tehran considers a violation of the ceasefire agreement.
