Another round of talks between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States, mediated by Pakistan, concluded early Sunday morning, informed sources reported.

Following the conclusion of this latest meeting between the Iranian and American delegations, expert-level teams exchanged draft texts.
The late-night trilateral negotiations, which were attended by Pakistani officials acting as mediators, began at 1:05 a.m. local time on Sunday and officially wrapped up at 3:12 a.m.
The Pakistani capital is currently hosting high-level delegations from Tehran and Washington for a crucial round of talks. The primary objective of the negotiations is to secure a lasting peace agreement following a recent 14-day ceasefire in the volatile West Asia region.
This diplomatic initiative, initially proposed by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, reached the operational stage after weeks of mediation by Islamabad. The talks officially commenced on Saturday, April 11, 2026.
Citing the excessive demands of the U.S., media reports suggest that this latest session may serve as the Iranian negotiating team’s final opportunity for the Americans to agree on a common framework during this specific round of talks.
Despite the reported friction, an informed source previously told that while there are serious disagreements between Iran and the U.S., the intensive dialogues actively continued.
