Iranian Foreign Minister strongly reacted to the unlawful detention of Iranian citizens by Kuwait, stressing that Tehran reserves its right to a response.

In a statement posted on X, Seyed Abbas Araghchi said that Kuwait unlawfully attacked an Iranian boat, and detained four Iranian citizens in the Persian Gulf in a clear attempt to sow discord, noting, “This illegal act took place near island used by the U.S. to attack Iran”
He further stated, “We demand immediate release of our nationals and reserve right to respond.”
