“Two of the measures mutually agreed upon between the parties have yet to be implemented: a ceasefire in Lebanon and the release of Iran’s blocked assets prior to the commencement of negotiations,” Ghalibaf wrote on his X account on Friday.
“These two matters must be fulfilled before negotiations begin,” he added.
Ghalibaf had earlier warned enemies that the time is running out.
The two-week ceasefire between Iran and the United States, mediated by Pakistan, came on Wednesday after a 40-day long unprovoked US-Israeli war of aggression on the Islamic Republic.
Washington accepted Tehran’s 10-point proposal, including the end of attacks on Lebanon, in a move that was hailed by countries around the world. However, the Israeli regime has continued its attacks both in Iran and Lebanon in breach of the agreed points.
