Mohammad Akbarzadeh stated that the expanse of the Strait of Hormuz has increased from 20–30 miles in the past to over 200–300 miles, forming a complete crescent.

Akbarzadeh stressed, “This comes while some enemies claimed that the Naval Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been weakened or does not exist. But this very design and implementation of the new plan shows that this Force is present on the scene with authority.”

He emphasized that Iran monitors regional movements with precision and authority, and will not allow any violation of its waters and interests.

Akbarzadeh stated that the guardians of the Strait of Hormuz have shown that this strait is under the authoritative control of Iran and is powerfully protected.

According to him, Iran’s view of the Strait of Hormuz is not merely a limited geographical perspective, but a strategic and distinctive one.
He further added, “In the fields of energy, commodity trade, and transit, the Islamic Republic of Iran has not only created no obstacles in the Strait of Hormuz but has also provided extensive services to the world. This approach stems from a policy of de-escalation and ensuring security.”
Akbarzadeh continued, “We sought regional peace and security, but today the conditions have changed, and new policies regarding the Strait of Hormuz are being implemented — policies whose results the world will see.”
