President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed the need for preventing division among Muslim countries amid the US-Israeli war of aggression against Iran.

“Muslim countries should not allow enemies to exploit this issue for inciting division and igniting war in the region,” Pezeshkian said in a phone conversation with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on Thursday.
He expressed appreciation for Malaysia’s principled stance in condemning the illegal and inhumane attacks by the US and the Israeli regime.
He reiterated Iran’s pursuit of complete war-ending and regional peace, stating, “We hope, with the help of brotherly and Muslim countries, to save the region from the catastrophe that the enemies are seeking.”
The Malaysian prime minister also expressed solidarity with Iran, mourning the martyrdom of former Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and top Iranian officials and citizens during the aggression.
He highlighted Malaysia’s support for Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, emphasizing the importance of diplomatic efforts to ensure stability in the region.
He also expressed concern about the escalation of tensions in West Asia, stressing the need for Muslim countries to pursue peace and regional stability through diplomacy.
