The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Esmaeil Baghaei says that not only does appeasing the US and Israeli criminal regimes not stop them, but it also “whets their appetite.”

He made the remarks in a post on his X account on Friday in reaction to the news announcing that the Canadian government has announced more sanctions on Iran. The sanctions are imposed on four individuals and five institutions.
“Appeasing the bullies & aggressors by pressuring the victim will hardly keep you spared from (the consequences of) their lawlessness & bullying,” Baghaei wrote.
“Appeasing bullies & fascists does not stop them؛ it only whets their appetite.”
