Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says the massive turnout at the February 11 rallies is the secret behind the strength and steadfastness of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stressing that Iran’s diplomats are heartened by the people and the armed forces.

Speaking on the sidelines of the anniversary ceremony marking the victory of the Islamic Revolution on Wednesday, Araghchi said, “Today the message of the Iranian people is being shown to the world. In the fields of diplomacy and negotiations, we are heartened by these people and our armed forces.”
“When people turn out, we know they support us,” he said. “We are backed by their support and by the armed forces that defend the country with strength. God willing, we will move forward with strength.”
He added, “The good news today is the rally and the massive presence of the people on the scene, which is the secret of the strength and steadfastness of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
Araghchi reiterated that the widespread and magnificent presence of the people, along with their unwavering support for the Islamic Republic’s diplomacy, strengthens officials’ resolve.
Addressing US claims about Iran’s missile program, he said, “Our missiles are not subject to negotiation and will not be.”
He added that the time and place of the next round of talks have not yet been determined.
