The agenda for this round of talks, consistent with previous stages, remains strictly confined to the nuclear issue and the lifting of the United States’ illegal sanctions against our country, and Iran maintains its emphasis on preserving the right to uranium enrichment.

Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi is accompanied on this trip by the Deputy Minister for Political Affairs, the Deputy Minister for Legal and International Affairs, the Deputy Minister for Economic Diplomacy, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson. Technical, legal, and economic experts are also part of Iran’s negotiating team.

Upon his early arrival in Geneva, the Foreign Minister stressed in a social media message: “What is not on the table: Submission before threats.”

Araghchi also announced that he traveled to Geneva with real ideas to achieve a fair and balanced agreement. Yesterday, in a meeting with his Omani counterpart, he presented Iran’s points within the framework of the country’s negotiation strategy.

The Foreign Minister’s itinerary in Geneva also includes participation and a speech at the Disarmament Conference, alongside conducting various diplomatic meetings.
