The Executive Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in its extraordinary meeting, condemned settlement policies and annexation in the West Bank, expressing concern over recent threats against the Islamic Republic of Iran, and emphasized that any resort to force against an independent country constitutes a blatant violation of international law.

The meeting stressed the necessity of implementing the plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump, moving to its second phase, establishing a complete and permanent ceasefire, ensuring the full withdrawal of Israeli forces, and reaffirmed the unity of the Palestinian territories.
In another section of the statement, participants expressed deep concern over “rising tensions and the intensification of confrontational rhetoric in the Middle East,” including recent threats to use force against the Islamic Republic of Iran, and provocative deployments of offensive military forces.
The statement concluded that any threat or use of force against a sovereign state constitutes a direct violation of international law.
