In response to Donald Trump’s rhetoric regarding the Strait of Hormuz, Ebrahim Rezaei wrote on his X, “The Strait of Hormuz was not closed by a tweet, and it will not be opened by a tweet.”
He concluded, “The path to reopening the Strait of Hormuz is either the acceptance of defeat, reaching an agreement, and acknowledging Iran’s lordship and authority over the Strait of Hormuz; or a return to the battlefield, accepting another humiliating defeat, and acknowledging Iran’s lordship and authority over the Strait of Hormuz. There is no other way remaining.”
