Badr Albusaidi, Oman’s Foreign Minister and mediator in the indirect talks between Iran and the United States, is set to travel to Washington for a meeting with U.S. Vice President JD Vance.

The visit comes after Albusaidi held consultations in Geneva yesterday with representatives from both Iran and the United States, seeking to close both sides’ views on the nuclear negotiations.
Acting in its mediating role, Oman is working to preserve the diplomatic opening, and steer the process toward an agreement with durable guarantees, in order to keep the situation on a path of dialogue and negotiation.
