Statement No. 50 of Operation True Promise-4 from the Public Relations of the IRGC is as follows:
The invading American-Zionist forces have bombed Iran’s universities for several times by bombing University of Science and Technology in Tehran, added the statement.
The unwise rulers of the White House should know that, the statement said, all universities of the occupying regime and American universities in the West Asia region will be Iran’s legitimate targets.
The IRGC called on all staff, professors, and students of American universities in the region and those living in their surroundings to stay at least one kilometer away from the mentioned universities to ensure their safety.
If the US government, the IRGC noted, wants its universities in the region not to be affected during the retaliatory operation, it must condemn the bombing of universities in an official statement by 12 p.m. Tehran time on Monday, March 30th.
Earlier, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmaeil Baqaei, has categorically responded to the attacks against Iranian universities, which he said is ‘to cripple the country’s scientific foundation and cultural heritage’.
