Iran’s Foreign Minister and his French counterpart discussed diplomatic initiatives aimed at ending the US-Israeli war of aggression against Iran.

According to a press release by the official Telegram page of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Jean-Noël Barrot held phone discussions early Saturday.
The two top diplomats discussed the ongoing developments in West Asia, as well as issues and diplomatic initiatives aimed at ending the war waged by the US and Israel on February 28.
The fighting was paused on April 8 when a two-week ceasefire took effect between Tehran and Washington, which was later extended indefinitely. Diplomatic efforts are also underway to permanently end the war, with Iran insisting that its rights should be fully respected.
