Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf reacted to nationwide “No Kings” protests in the United States, telling American demonstrators that Iranians have been chanting the same thing for 47 years.

“Welcome to the party we started 47 years ago, No kings,” Ghalibaf wrote in a post published Sunday night on X.
“This is the people of Iran, and we approve this message,” the official further noted.
Millions of demonstrators took to the streets in cities across the United States to take part in the “No Kings” protest movement against President Donald Trump’s policies both at home and abroad, including his war of aggression against Iran.
More than 3,200 marches were planned across all 50 states, with organizers predicting what they described as the “single largest non-violent day of action” in American history.
