The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament praised the role of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in fighting the enemies in three imposed wars against Iran.

In a message marking the anniversary of the founding of the IRGC Ghalibaf said, “The IRGC’s struggles during the three imposed wars and its role in suppressing armed insurgencies aimed at destabilizing Iran’s borders are ‘medals of honor’ for the great men of the Corps, who always stand ready to sacrifice their lives for the country.”
He described the IRGC as a source of “pride and honor” for the country. Standing as strong as an “iron wall” against the enemies, the IRGC forces have proven sacrifice in defending the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and protecting the ideological and physical borders of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ghalibaf said.
The speaker further noted that the IRGC is an institution that remains at the forefront of national service beyond the battlefields, including during natural disasters, reconstruction efforts, and cultural spheres. “Wherever the name of Iran and the Islamic Revolution is present, the IRGC is always there to defend,” he said.
