First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref condemned the U.S.-Israeli airstrikes on Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, calling the attack a testimony of Trump’s madness and ignorance.

In a post on his X account on Monday, Aref said Donald Trump did not know that the Iranian knowledge was not something that could be destroyed with bombs.
Noting that science is rooted in souls and the “real bunker” is the volition of Iranian professors and academic elites, he added “no barbarism in history” has ever been able to take the scientific knowhow from Iranians.
A hostile US-Israeli attack on the Sharif University of Technology campus in the early hours of Monday, resulted in the destruction of one its buildings, as well as damage to nearby structures.
According to Minister of Science, Research, and Technology Hossein Simaei-Saraf, more than 30 universities have been directly hit by the U.S. and Israeli terror regimes in their ongoing aggression against Iran, in a clear violation of international law and a crime against humanity.
On the first day of their aggression on February 28, the U.S. and Israeli regime targeted an elementary school in the southern Iranian city of Minab with missiles, leading to the martyrdom of 170 students.
