Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, held a phone conversation today, Wednesday, with Seyed Abbas Araghchi regarding the latest developments in the indirect negotiation process between Iran and the United States.

During the call, Iran’s Foreign Minister emphasized the Islamic Republic of Iran’s focus on drafting an initial, cohesive, and goal-oriented framework for the continuation of the negotiations.
The IAEA Director General, for his part, assessed the results of the recent meeting positively, and announced the Agency’s readiness to accompany and provide technical support in establishing the negotiating framework.
The two sides also reviewed the outcomes of the latest round of indirect talks between Iran and the United States in Geneva, exchanging views on the mechanisms and requirements for preparing a draft common framework.
