Mohammad Akraminia stressed, “From now on, countries that follow the United States in enforcing sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran will certainly face problems passing through the Strait of Hormuz.”
Akraminia noted that the military conflict against the US and Israel had forced Iran to use the geopolitical potential of the Strait of Hormuz, saying the country is exercising sovereignty over it.
The Spokesperson emphasized that any vessel wishing to pass through the Strait of Hormuz must coordinate its actions with Iran, stating that these measures could bring Iran many benefits.
Akraminia continued that the US failed to achieve any of its objectives and suffered defeat as a result of its attack on Iran.
He said, “If we want to make an assessment, we must note that the enemy did not achieve any of its previously defined goals and suffered defeat in this war,” adding that the US actions in the region had only strengthened unity and solidarity inside Iran.
