Tehran – IranView24<\/strong><\/p>\n In a message on X, Kazem Gharibabadi wrote, \u201cThe United States’ attempt, along with some of its regional allies, to propose a draft resolution on the Strait of Hormuz in the Security Council represents a new effort to shift the terms of the issue: transforming the consequences of a military aggression and illegal siege into a case against a country that has been the target of threats, pressure, and attack.\u201d<\/p>\n Gharibabadi added, \u201cFreedom of navigation is a respected legal principle, but it cannot be interpreted selectively, politically, and detached from the United Nations Charter. No initiative on maritime security in this region can simultaneously overlook the resort to force, naval blockade, ongoing threats, and the direct role of the United States and the Zionist regime in generating the crisis, while claiming neutrality or legal credibility.\u201d<\/p>\n He further noted, \u201cThe core issue is not the passage of ships in a vacuum; the issue is that certain governments are seeking to rewrite the effects of their own illegal actions in the language of international order.
