The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has warned that any new act of aggression against Iran will be met with a response \u201cbeyond the enemies\u2019 expectations\u201d and at a level of strategic deterrence, following a recent US aggression in southern Isfahan province.<\/p>\n
Tehran-IranView24<\/strong><\/p>\n In a statement issued on Saturday, the IRGC said the US action was \u201ca repetition of the humiliation of the White House and the destined defeat of Global Arrogance by the Iranian nation.\u201d<\/p>\n The statement coincided with the anniversary of the failed US military operation known as \u201cOperation Eagle Claw\u201d in Tabas, eastern Iran, in 1980.<\/p>\n Referring to the \u201cthird imposed American-Zionist war,\u201d the IRGC praised the \u201cgreat victory\u201d of the Iranian nation and addressed the current phase of \u201csilence in the ongoing military battle.\u201d<\/p>\n It emphasized that the \u201cpowerful and intelligent silence\u201d of Iran\u2019s armed forces, implemented under the direction of the Leader and commander-in-chief, \u201cis not a sign of weakness.\u201d<\/p>\n The statement warned that this restraint \u201ccan at any moment, in the event of miscalculation and any renewed aggressive action by the warmongering and oath-breaking enemy, become the prelude to a \u2018hellish storm\u2019 against them.\u201d<\/p>\n Iran\u2019s territory \u201cextends beyond Tabas and Isfahan\u201d and could become \u201cthe field of defeat and humiliation of aggressors,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n The IRGC also urged the United States to \u201caccept reality\u201d and \u201cnot make itself more of a plaything in the hands of [Benjamin] Netanyahu, the criminal and child-killing Zionist prime minister.\u201d<\/p>\n US bases in the region have been \u201cburned and destroyed\u201d and are no longer capable of reconstruction, it said, asserting that the only option left for Washington is \u201cthe collection of their human and logistical remnants and a rapid and unconditional withdrawal from the region.\u201d<\/p>\n The statement further stressed Iran\u2019s continued military strategy, particularly \u201cmanagement and control of the strategic Strait of Hormuz,\u201d describing it as a \u201cdefinitive strategy\u201d during and after the current war.<\/p>\n It concluded by reaffirming that Iran will continue its path of \u201cdignity and power\u201d and reiterated that any further aggression \u201cwill undoubtedly be met with a response beyond the enemies\u2019 expectations.\u201d<\/p>\n The remarks come amid a ceasefire that took effect on April 8, followed by negotiations between Tehran and Washington, which collapsed due to excessive demands put forward by the US.<\/p>\n The United States and Israel imposed a war of aggression against Iran on February 28, assassinating Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the father of\u00a0Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
