Iran\u2019s Permanent Mission to the International Organizations in Vienna firmly rejected recent claims about Iran\u2019s nuclear program, describing suggestions that Tehran seeks a nuclear weapon as \u201ca big lie\u201d unsupported by any evidence.<\/p>\n
Tehran – IranView24<\/strong><\/p>\n In a post published Tuesday on X, the Mission stated, \u201cThe assertion that \u201cIran will not have a nuclear weapon\u2026 they still want it” is a big lie.\u201d<\/p>\n The statement added, \u201cNazi propaganda technique of \u201cBig Lie\u201d – repeat a lie often enough, and it becomes the truth \u2013 does not work in the Modern Age.\u201d<\/p>\n The Mission emphasized, \u201cIran\u2019s reaffirmation\u201d that \u201cit will under no circumstances ever seek, develop or acquire any nuclear weapons\u201d was welcomed by the UN Security Council and verified constantly by the IAEA.\u201d<\/p>\n According to the statement, \u201cAfter conducting the most robust verification in its history, the IAEA acknowledged that Iran has no nuclear weapons program. There exists no evidence for diversion of nuclear materials by Iran in the Agency reports. On the contrary, there are many reports that all nuclear materials are accounted for.\u201d<\/p>\n It further questioned Trump\u2019s claims, noting, \u201cThe U.S. President’s assertion even contradicts the intelligence community’s assessment of his own country.\u201d<\/p>\n The Mission also dismissed long\u2011standing claims advanced by Israeli officials that Iran is only \u201cweeks away\u201d from obtaining a nuclear weapon, saying: \u201cThis \u201cBig Lie\u201d that Iran is only a few weeks away from developing nuclear weapons, despite being repeated by liar Netanyahu for nearly 1790 weeks (over 34 years), has not changed the reality that essentially Iran never opted for a nuclear weapon but insisted on its inalienable rights for peaceful uses of nuclear energy.\u201d<\/p>\n It is worth noting that Iran\u2019s peaceful nuclear program has faced political pressure and Western accusations for years.
