Tehran – IranView24<\/strong><\/p>\n In a message posted late Sunday on X, the embassy wrote, \u201cVery precise stance on this obvious threat to freedom of navigation, even anticipated it two days in advance.\u201d<\/p>\n The remark came as a sarcastic reference to earlier comments by UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper, who had blamed Iran for instability in the strategic waterway without mentioning the root causes, which are U.S. and Israeli military actions in the region.<\/p>\n In her previously published statement, Cooper said, \u201cIn my Mansion House speech, I made clear: the Strait of Hormuz must be fully reopened, without restrictions or tolls. The blocking of this vital waterway is hitting trade around the world and prices here at home.
