Tehran – IranView24<\/strong><\/p>\n In a statement issued Monday, the IRGC said it has never targeted water infrastructure and that, in contrast, U.S. Forces have already struck five water\u2011related sites, including a desalination plant on Iran\u2019s Qeshm Island. It also described Washington\u2019s charge as part of a broader campaign to distract from its own attacks that have endangered civilians and vital services.<\/p>\n The statement condemned U.S. threats to strike Iran\u2019s power plants, calling such actions inhumane because they would disrupt essential services such as hospitals, rescue operations, and water networks. It warned that any assault on Iran\u2019s electricity facilities would result in a reciprocal response.<\/p>\n Iran will retaliate proportionally and strike the power stations of the Israeli regime, those of regional countries supplying U.S. bases, as well as economic and energy infrastructure linked to the United States, the statement said.<\/p>\n Reaffirming Iran\u2019s deterrence policy, the IRGC stressed that it is determined to respond to any threat at the level necessary to maintain deterrence.
