The spokesperson for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran\u2019s Parliament, Ebrahim Rezaei, has detailed Tehran\u2019s framework and red lines ahead of the upcoming round of negotiations, underscoring that uranium enrichment and nuclear stockpiles remain non-negotiable.<\/p>\n
Tehran – IranView24<\/strong><\/p>\n In an interview, the lawmaker emphasized that \u201cin this round of talks, there is no discussion whatsoever about halting or abandoning uranium enrichment,\u201d adding that Iran\u2019s nuclear reserves will not be transferred out of the country.<\/p>\n Referring to previous negotiations, Rezaei said these issues had already been accepted by the American side in earlier discussions.<\/p>\n Rezaei stressed that the Geneva talks are strictly focused on the nuclear file and bear no relation to Iran\u2019s missile program or regional matters. He further stated that Tehran considers the Israeli regime to be the principal source of instability in the region.<\/p>\n According to him, any dialogue regarding what he described as the regime\u2019s threats should take place outside the framework of the current negotiations and in coordination with regional countries, with the aim of ensuring development, stability, and shared interests.<\/p>\n The parliamentarian also pointed to Iran\u2019s readiness to address nuclear-related concerns during Tuesday\u2019s meeting, noting that the Iranian negotiating team has prepared a proposal package to prevent delays.<\/p>\n However, he expressed limited optimism about the outcome, citing what he described as the United States\u2019 track record in previous engagements.<\/p>\n The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, leading a specialized diplomatic delegation, has arrived in Geneva to participate in the second round of nuclear negotiations and conduct political consultations.
