Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a congratulatory message to his Iranian counterpart, Masoud Pezeshkian on the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, has affirmed his country’s support for Iran.<\/p>\n

According to the Iranian Embassy in Moscow’s Telegram channel, in the message addressed to Pezeshkian on Saturday, Putin described Russia-Iran relations as friendly and good-neighborly in nature.<\/p>\n

He made it clear that Russia would keep supporting the Islamic Republic’s efforts to protect its sovereignty and legitimate interests, as well as ensure its security in the current difficult international situation.<\/p>\n

The Russian president’s message further read that he was confident Moscow and Tehran would consistently strengthen their comprehensive strategic partnership.<\/p>\n
