Tehran – IranView24<\/strong><\/p>\n Qassam spokesman Abu\u00a0Obeida declared support for Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, as well as the Iranian people and government, in a statement on Wednesday, when the\u00a0country marked the 47th anniversary of its Islamic Revolution amid\u00a0recent provocations and threats by\u00a0the US\u00a0and Israel.<\/p>\n \u201cWe consider any aggression against the Islamic Republic and its brotherly people to be an aggression against our Islamic nation, a criminal infringement on the sovereignty of a resistant Islamic state,\u201d Abu\u00a0Obeida said.<\/p>\n He also rejected efforts aimed at interfering in Iran\u2019s domestic affairs\u00a0through “brute force” and\u00a0further denounced the latest threats and previous attacks against Iran as a \u201cdesperate\u201d act of \u201crevenge\u201d against the nation, which has stood alongside Palestinians and supported their resistance against the Israeli occupation.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Abu Obeida expressed confidence in the capabilities of the Iranian Armed Forces, including the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC),\u00a0to repel any attack, defend the country, and deal harsh blows to the aggressors.<\/p>\n The Iranian Armed Forces \u201ctaught the Zionist enemy lessons\u201d during last year\u2019s illegal US-Israeli assault against the country, he added, referring to Iran\u2019s retaliatory strikes that targeted strategic sites across the occupied territories during the 12-day war.<\/p>\n The Qassam spokesman said the Palestinian resistance managed to break the Zionist entity\u2019s \u201cprestige\u201d during Operation al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, 2023, which was carried out in retaliation for Israel\u2019s intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.<\/p>\n Following the historic Palestinian operation, Israel launched\u00a0a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, but failed to achieve its declared objectives despite killing at least 72,045 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 171,686 others.<\/p>\n The criminal regime was forced to agree to a ceasefire with Hamas, which took effect on October 10, 2025.
