Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the massive presence of Iranian people in the 22 Bahman rallies sent a clear message indicating that Iran\u2019s rights and dignity are not for sale.<\/p>\n
Tehran – IranView24<\/strong><\/p>\n In a post on X early Thursday, Araghchi referred to the millions who took to the streets on Wednesday to mark the 47th anniversary of what scholars call \u201cThe Last Great Revolution of the 20th Century.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAs millions of Iranians once again made clear today: our rights and our dignity are not for sale,\u201d the foreign minister wrote.<\/p>\n \u201cMuch has happened in the decades since the Islamic Revolution, and particularly the past twelve months,\u201d he said. \u201cOver the last year alone, our people have been subject to an unprecedented attack by two nuclear-armed regimes and then a massive terrorist operation; yet the Islamic Republic of Iran has always stood strong.\u201d<\/p>\n He stressed that such resilience \u201cis rooted in our reliance on our OWN people, not foreign regimes.\u201d<\/p>\n Araghchi added that he sincerely hopes the coming year will be \u201ca Year of Peace and Tranquility\u201d in which dialogue prevails over war.<\/p>\n \u201cOur preference is diplomacy, and a deal on Iran\u2019s peaceful nuclear program is achievable; but only if fair and balanced,\u201d he said, emphasizing that Iran \u201cwill not shy away from defending its sovereignty, whatever the cost.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the massive presence of Iranian people in the 22 Bahman rallies sent a clear message indicating that Iran\u2019s rights and dignity are not for sale.
