Tehran – IranView24<\/strong><\/p>\n The report says Iran sought to move the talks to Oman and to hold them as strictly bilateral discussions, with the aim of limiting the agenda exclusively to the nuclear file and excluding issues such as the missile program and regional security.<\/p>\n U.S. officials said Washington reviewed the request but ultimately rejected it. A senior American official told Axios: \u201cWe informed the Iranian side that either the talks would proceed in this format or there would be no talks at all\u2014and they responded: then none.\u201d<\/p>\n The official added that if Iran agrees to return to the original negotiating framework, the United States is prepared to hold talks later this week or next week.
