Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Seyed Abbas Araghchi criticized Europe\u2019s recent measures against the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.<\/p>\n
Tehran – IranView24<\/strong><\/p>\n Criticizing Europe\u2019s recent measures against the IRGC, Araghchi said, \u201cWith this decision, Europe lost something significant, and today, we see the European Union’s’ influence in the region diminishing day by day. Unfortunately, they are not even considering their own interests.\u201d<\/p>\n Iran’s Foreign Minister said that the IRGC has played a critical role in combating ISIS and other terrorist groups. He stressed, \u201cWithout the IRGC, Europeans today would be facing ISIS in Paris and other cities across Europe. Yet Europe has acted ungratefully in this regard, and there is no doubt it will regret this decision.\u201d<\/p>\n He noted, \u201cIn response, the Islamic Republic of Iran has the authority, through the Islamic Consultative Assembly, to classify European militaries as terrorist organizations.
