The United Arab Emirates\u2019 Foreign Ministry has reaffirmed that the country will not permit its airspace, territory, or waters to be used in any military action against Iran.<\/p>\n
Tehran – IranView24<\/strong><\/p>\n In a statement on Monday, the ministry said the UAE remains committed to \u201cnot allowing its airspace, territory, or waters to be used in any hostile military actions against Iran, and to not providing any logistical support in this regard.\u201d<\/p>\n The ministry emphasized that \u201cdialogue, de-escalation, adherence to international law, and respect for state sovereignty constitute the most effective foundations for addressing current crises.\u201d<\/p>\n The statement comes amid a continued US\u00a0military buildup near Iran, including the recent arrival of the USS Abraham Lincoln in West Asian waters.<\/p>\n US President Donald Trump said that the United States would resort to military aggression against Iran\u00a0if the Islamic Republic\u00a0engages in what he described as \u201cuse of violence against protesters.\u201d<\/p>\n What began as peaceful protests late last month gradually turned violent, as rioters rampaged through cities across Iran, killing security forces and attacking public infrastructure.<\/p>\n The United States and Israel\u2019s Mossad have openly acknowledged their presence on the ground, with former US\u00a0Secretary of State Mike Pompeo tweeting: \u201cHappy New Year to every Iranian in the streets. Also, to every Mossad agent walking beside them.\u201d<\/p>\n In a Farsi-language social media post, Mossad encouraged rioters to \u201cGo out together into the streets. The time has come,\u201d adding that Mossad operatives are with the rioters “not only from a distance and verbally.
