In a phone conversation with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi discussed bilateral ties and other issues of mutual interest.<\/p>\n
During the call, Araghchi expressed hope for improved relations between Tehran and Berlin and referred to recent mutual understandings, emphasizing Iran\u2019s readiness to take effective steps toward furthering ties.<\/p>\n
The Iranian Foreign Minister also highlighted the ongoing diplomatic process between Iran and the United States regarding sanctions relief and the nuclear issue. He underscored the importance of Europe\u2019s constructive role and reiterated Iran\u2019s willingness to continue talks with the E3 and the European Union.<\/p>\n
Minister Wadephul welcomed the phone call and reaffirmed Germany\u2019s willingness to continue both bilateral and multilateral discussions with Iran, emphasizing the need for further confidence-building measures.<\/p>\n
