Clearance is being carried out in accordance with legal procedures, just as in previous years,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"822\" data-end=\"855\">iPhone 16 Officially Imported<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"857\" data-end=\"1127\">Asgari further revealed that the latest iPhone models, including the <strong data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"939\">iPhone 16<\/strong>, have been officially imported into Iran following legal order registration. \u201cAll data regarding quantities, points of entry, and import conditions are transparently available,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1129\" data-end=\"1342\">He emphasized that the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade (MIMT) and the Trade Promotion Organization are responsible for issuing import registration permits, and Customs acts in accordance with those approvals.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1344\" data-end=\"1380\">Surge in Orders After Ban Lifted<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1382\" data-end=\"1669\">Following the official lifting of the ban on smartphones priced above $600\u2014including iPhones\u2014a wave of import registrations for various models began. According to Customs, most shipments entered the country via <strong data-start=\"1593\" data-end=\"1618\">Imam Khomeini Airport<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1620\" data-end=\"1643\">Shahid Bahonar Port<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1649\" data-end=\"1668\">Mashhad Customs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1671\" data-end=\"1710\">Import Tariffs Based on Phone Value<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1712\" data-end=\"1981\">According to the 2025 national budget law and the export-import regulations book, <strong data-start=\"1794\" data-end=\"1821\">phones valued over $600<\/strong> carry an import duty of <strong data-start=\"1846\" data-end=\"1878\">15% in commercial procedures<\/strong> and up to <strong data-start=\"1889\" data-end=\"1915\">30% in other processes<\/strong>. In contrast, <strong data-start=\"1930\" data-end=\"1951\">phones under $600<\/strong> are subject to a <strong data-start=\"1969\" data-end=\"1980\">4% duty<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1983\" data-end=\"2019\">The Future of Smartphone Imports<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2021\" data-end=\"2349\">With the removal of legal barriers and a more structured import registration system, Iran\u2019s smartphone market is expected to move toward <strong data-start=\"2158\" data-end=\"2182\">greater transparency<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"2184\" data-end=\"2209\">increased competition<\/strong>, and a <strong data-start=\"2217\" data-end=\"2252\">reduction in unofficial imports<\/strong>.
