This deep-rooted cultural connection has made our relations strong and naturally facilitated cooperation over the past three decades,\u201d Aref said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3 data-start=\"934\" data-end=\"970\">Economic and Diplomatic Progress<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"972\" data-end=\"1233\">Referring to <strong data-start=\"985\" data-end=\"1045\">President Masoud Pezeshkian\u2019s recent visit to Tajikistan<\/strong>, Aref highlighted significant strides in bilateral ties. During the visit, <strong data-start=\"1121\" data-end=\"1162\">13 agreements worth over $450 million<\/strong> were signed at a business forum between Iranian and Tajik enterprises.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1235\" data-end=\"1433\">In parallel, the <strong data-start=\"1252\" data-end=\"1332\">17th session of the Iran-Tajikistan Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation<\/strong> was recently held in <strong data-start=\"1354\" data-end=\"1364\">Shiraz<\/strong>, signaling continued momentum in trade and investment collaboration.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1435\" data-end=\"1476\">Environmental and Tourism Cooperation<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1478\" data-end=\"1746\">Aref also praised Tajikistan\u2019s commitment to sustainable development, citing its hosting of the <strong data-start=\"1574\" data-end=\"1627\">International Conference on Glaciers Preservation<\/strong> (May 29\u201331, 2025) in Dushanbe. He described the event as \u201ca reflection of Tajikistan\u2019s responsible global engagement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1748\" data-end=\"1924\">The Iranian vice president further welcomed the <strong data-start=\"1796\" data-end=\"1841\">implementation of a visa waiver agreement<\/strong>, which has boosted tourism and people-to-people exchanges between the two nations.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1926\" data-end=\"1964\">Scientific and Political Alignment<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1966\" data-end=\"2293\">Stressing the strength of current bilateral ties, Aref remarked that <strong data-start=\"2035\" data-end=\"2117\">political relations between Iran and Tajikistan are now at their highest level<\/strong>, serving as a model for expanding cooperation across other sectors. He also reaffirmed Iran\u2019s readiness to <strong data-start=\"2225\" data-end=\"2276\">share its scientific and technological advances<\/strong> with Tajikistan.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"2295\" data-end=\"2445\">\n<p data-start=\"2297\" data-end=\"2445\">\u201cThe progress Iran has made in science and technology belongs not only to us but should be shared with our friendly and brotherly nations,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3 data-start=\"2447\" data-end=\"2465\">Tajik Reaction<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2467\" data-end=\"2728\">Tajikistan\u2019s <strong data-start=\"2480\" data-end=\"2514\">Prime Minister Qohir Rasulzoda<\/strong>, who hosted Aref during the visit, echoed the sentiment, stating that <strong data-start=\"2585\" data-end=\"2703\">Iran\u2019s commitment to strengthening ties with Tajikistan reflects the sincere, brotherly, and historical friendship<\/strong> between the two nations.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"2730\" data-end=\"2877\">\n<p data-start=\"2732\" data-end=\"2877\">\u201cWe are bound by common language, history, and values.
