Speaking on Monday at the closing ceremony of the 11th basic combat training course for army non-commissioned officer trainees at the Javad al-A’emeh (AS) Training Center of the Army Ground Force, Sayyari said, “War today is cognitive and soft warfare, whose main objective is to influence the minds and thoughts of society.”

He added that youth, through vigilance, insight, and commitment, can safeguard the Islamic Revolution.

Sayyari emphasized that young people must act with awareness and a sense of responsibility in protecting and defending the Islamic Revolution of Iran.

The victory of the Islamic Revolution, he said, brought about a fundamental transformation in global equations and affected the world, noting that with this major victory, the “dominance and illegitimate interests of global arrogance” in Iran and the West Asia region were shattered, forcing them to retreat and leave the region.

Sayyari went on to say that an enemy which has suffered such a heavy defeat has, from the very beginning of the victory of the Islamic Revolution to the present day, continuously sought to restore its lost dominance and redefine its illegitimate interests in the region.

Referring to various plots and conspiracies, including the imposed war, terrorist actions, efforts to create ethnic and sectarian divisions, and unrest, he said all these “despicable and failed tactics” have been neutralized one after another by the resistance, insight, and bravery of the great Iranian nation, especially revolutionary youth, and will also be doomed to failure in the future.

The deputy coordinator of the army also outlined the core missions of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, saying that safeguarding territorial integrity, defending national independence, and protecting the Islamic Republic system are among its fundamental constitutional duties.
