On Tuesday, on the eve of the anniversary, Pezeshkian said Iran is at a critical and decisive moment, noting that enemies are seeking to undermine national unity, cohesion, and solidarity. He added that such efforts have created social challenges and pressures for the country.
The president emphasized that public participation in the rallies would demonstrate the nation’s resilience and commitment to safeguarding Iran’s sovereignty as well as its national and religious values. Despite all concerns and difficulties, when it comes to protecting Iran, Iranians stand together, he said.
Pezeshkian stated that the hardships faced by the Iranian people are the result of pressures imposed by those who claim to defend democracy and human rights, and who continue to intensify sanctions and restrictions.
He concluded that a strong public turnout would deliver a clear message to the world, showing that the Iranian people remain steadfast in their core principles despite ongoing challenges.
